Interim Manager as Global Network Engineer / Manager (f/m)

 

Responsibilities

The IT Infrastructure Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of project management for an assigned Network and Infrastructure projects for all the company's Global Infrastructure Projects Scoping, requirements gathering, document approval tracking and management, project plan creation, status reporting, issue resolution, project resource allocation, project costs and vendor relation and timelines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Creates cohesive project plans with identifiable critical path, task dependencies, and major milestones, manages the approved plans and schedules, ensuring successful completion within scope, budget, time, and quality parameters.

  • Experience with global network projects / WAN projects.

  • Responsible for developing project plan around Network Infrastructure.

  • Drive deadlines, assigns responsibilities, monitors and summarizes progress of projects.

  • Prepares reports for upper management regarding project status.

  • Builds and maintains effective working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects.

 

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience

  • 10+ years of experience in LAN / Wireless LAN / WAN network administration and engineering

  • Experience with one or more SDWAN/SDN technologies

  • Strong communications and influencing skills

  • Experience working in a multi BU, Global company is a plus

  • Must have ran WAN project and SDWAN projects

  • Experience with virtual spin up and firewalls

  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

  • Supports team members in executing tasks as needed to meet project deliveries

  • Assists in the development of corporate project / program management methodologies

 

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Experience with Global Carrier Market

  • Knowledge with zScaler

  • In addition, telephony knowledge is a plus

  • Skype knowledge, especially Skype as a landline (PBX) replacement

Availability: 100%

Begin: March 2019

End: December 2019

Location: Geneva, Switzerland

Travel required: 20%
