Project Lead IT Application Coordination (Industry) (f/m)

 

Responsibilities

The job holder has the following key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the delivery of high-quality application information to the project

  • Managing the request from the project towards the IT application team

  • Responsible to coordinate and deliver information about applications and functionalities

  • Responsible to support the project with architecture and landscape information

  • Document the requested and with the project defined solutions

  • Define the projects` Nonfunctional-Requirements based on the client`s Governance for the application part

  • Ensure that the security aspects are made, based on the company rules

  • Ensure that legal requirements, like GDPR, are considered in the project

  • Architecture Landscape:

    • Define the relevant architecture landscape

    • Support the project with the need information and document them

    • Manage issues and escalations related to application owners

  • Project Management:

    • Manage and support the project according to defined processes

    • Provide project management skills as well as subject matter expertise including required sourcing measurements to projects

    • Coordinate the request from the project to the responsible application owner within the IT application team

  • Shared Responsibilities:

    • The IT application coordinator works closely with the central IT application teams and shares responsibility for the successful delivery of IT application requests to the project entities

  • Performance Measures:

    • Supporting the project with the requested topics in time and quality

    • Availability and sharing of local performance KPIs and their related improvement plans and activities

Education

    • University degree in Computer Science or related field

    • Recent Certification: ITIL preferred

Experience

    • At least 5 years of experience with IT Architecture and Management in an international organization

    • Proven track record in IT Project Management

    • Good experience in SAP (incl. BW/BI and ERP) environments and other non-SAP IT application and architecture landscapes

    • Salesforce and other CRM-platforms

    • Digital workflows with ServiceNow

    • Good knowledge of Technical / Enterprise Architecture Frameworks and heterogenic systems

    • Good knowledge in cloud and on-premise solutions

    • Experience with ITSM-platforms / integration platforms

    • Strong Vendor Management skills to influence desired outcomes

    • Experience with management of IT service providers

    • Experience in managing people with the ability to lead and motivate staff

    • Strong Project Management and leading skills

    • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication & collaboration skills

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook

    • Fluent in business English and German (equivalent to at least CEFR C1 level)

 

Start: February 2019 or earlier

End: December 2019

Duration 10 Month

Workload: 100%

Location: Cologne (Germany), regular travel required
