Insights into Maxon AG Maxon AG, a longstanding family-owned company, is a global leader in the development and production of high-precision electric motors. Particularly impressive is the extraordinary level of vertical integration – from development to final assembly, everything takes place in-house. Maxon’s products are used in industrial robotics and medical technology, including insulin pumps. With an annual turnover of around CHF 600 million and continuous investments in research and development, Maxon remains committed to innovation and quality.
Strategic Direction and Key Challenges In discussions with the management team – in particular CEO Eugen Elmiger and COO Andreas Richter – current challenges such as international competition, US tariffs and the shortage of skilled workers were addressed. Maxon AG responds to these topics with a clear growth strategy, strong innovative capacity and targeted expansion into new markets.
Networking and Positioning For Swiss Interim Management, the event provided an excellent opportunity to nurture existing relationships and build new ones. Through direct conversations, we were able to share our expertise in filling leadership positions – both interim and permanent – and engage in an exchange on current market developments.
The SMG event at Maxon AG highlighted how essential innovation, quality and strong networks are for sustainable corporate success. We thank Maxon AG and the SMG for the inspiring event and look forward to further valuable insights and connections.
